AFRICA SOCCER DEVELOPMENTS (ASD) is dedicated to helping young footballers to achieve their potential. It aims to develop the next generation of young professional footballers. We aim to source, develop and place new talent from all over the world, with a particular emphasis on placing African scholars into the European game.

 
ASD Cape Town, our first Soccer School, was opened in April 2009. This, and all future Soccer Schools, will invest in its scholars both on and off the football pitch.  This includes accommodation, education, training and international competition at the highest standard.
 
Our aim is to provide top class coaching and facilities that ensure all of our scholars achieve their potential, both on and off the field.  Hopefully, this will maximise the boys' opportunities of a career in professional football, whether at local, national or international level.  ASD Cape Town looks at developing 'the full package', with scholars gaining life skills, qualifications, a strong mentality and mindset for their future career, where they can guarantee the ongoing support from their ASD family.
 
 

ASD Cape Town's first graduates came following the Under19 Tour of Belgium in May 2011.  Four ASD scholars signed professional contracts, most notably Ayanda Patosi (Sporting Lokeren) - a fantastic prospect for the future.
