ASD Cape Town are delighted to confirm that Club Captain, Ethen Sampson, has finalised his move to MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
ASD Players Dillon Goss and David Gateri were recently interviewed by The Childen's Radio Foundation in a number of pieces's that were aired across South Africa.
ASD Cape Town were knocked out of the 2013 Metropolitan Cup after a frustrating 1-0 defeat to local rivals Ajax Cape Town. 10-man Ajax snatched the crucial goal towards the end of the first half and survived a late ASD onslaught to send their opponents crashing out.
ASD Cape Town booked their place in the last 16 of the Metropolitan Cup after an extremely impressive display. ASD were comfortable as they scored 5 goals past Nigerian's Segra Academy at Erica Park on Saturday afternoon to set up a tie with rivals Ajax Cape Town.
ASD stooped to a 1-0 defeat to PSL academy Mamelodi Sundowns in a hotly-contested match at the Bayhill. On a wet evening, Sundowns struck early in the second half to condemn ASD to their first defeat in this years competition.
